Lucky you aren't a day trader thinking like that. When they are the ones investing $30 million in silver they would rather triple their money when they bought it at $7. Better to get $90 million and drop the price to half then be stupid selling it all and lose money in the process crashing the price. It is all the little guys that have caused silver to go up just like any stock on the stock market it is not a safe investment tool. The rich are just sitting on it and investing in gold and platinum until the time is right and the little guy made it go up. Silver has never gone up a lot in one day meaning no wealthy person has bought in along long time. When the rich sell it won't be good for the little guy that has $10000 in silver and thinks he can turn it into $100000 waiting for it to go to $50. They will lose a lot when it actually crashes below $30.

He hasn't lost anything unless he unloads the silver. He will still have the original amount of silver, right?

What makes you so certain that silver is going to crash?

What makes you think we bought all of our silver at $40? I bought most of mine at $16 and half of my gold at $700. That goes for a lot of us on this site and some may have bought gold at $60 or even $36 per ounce. I hear a lot of your style hanging out at Kitco forums. Not a lot of day trading going on around here.

We're ready for another round of devaluation of our US dollars.

I urge all collectors/investors to really put at least 20% of their wealth into PM, and buy stocks at the same time, you will see bargains like 2008.

Joe. I will be happy to take any silver off your hands when you post enough to sell for 25 an oz.! Let you take me to the cleaners! And seeing as how it will be back down to 20 soon, you will clean up at around five bucks per coin....

Don't get crazy Hawk. Silver belongs at $7 so he should sell at $3.50 or less if his conviction is that strong. Silver isn't really at $40.85 in Troll Land. Only poor people buy silver. Everybody knows that. I sure wish that I could buy some gold, but that's just for rich guys who sell at half price.

Sounds like the dealer got the best deal there to me. Those are just silver bullion coins and will lose value when the price of silver drops.

Sure thing, Joe. Now tell me all about how great the US dollar is and how we should not expect any inflation to come along and make it shrink some more. :-/

We all have one that is built in. I call it my mental "ignore button".

Not bad advice at all.

The market just made a 10% correction today.
Check out stocks that you like and buy, may go side ways until October, so use $$$ that you can spare.

Looks like profit taking on silver, if it goes back under $39 time to buy more.

I really hope that everyone does listen to that guy and buy silver when it drops below $39. Then they can cry to him about how he cost them loads when it just continues to drop. Some really bad investors on here that don't know the value of buy low and sell high. Silver is over double its actual value and everyone on here is actually buying high. Glad I'm not part of this failed get rich quick scheme. When silver crashes on Monday don't cry on here about all the losses.
