I think it's real but has definitely been "whizzed". Most fakes have a very flat strike and a dull grey finish. Weigh it and you should find a 20-25% difference in weight if it's fake, although that's not a sure thing.

It is NOT fake. It is simply polished. Being it is an O, I would have snagged it too as long as it was cheap. I love the CC and Os.

I have a Morgan dollar that I bought for a couple bucks. I'm not sure if it's real or not?

Unfortunately, I think that one is only good for putting under the table leg to keep it from wobbling.

I don't like how large the letters and the eagle's neck are, or the way the obverse rim looks ... I say it's fake, unfortunately.

I'd say that last one has about a 99.99% chance of being fake.
