I'll add some pics as soon as I get my camera back tomorrow. But before March I had a large collection but it wasn't worth much just a bunch of commons. Then I sold it all and here is what I bought. 1922 MS Peace dollar, 1857 Dime, 1877 Dime, 1857 O Half Dime (given to me by my great grandma, not bought), 1806 Bust Half, 1829 Half with a beautiful toning and original luster, 1861 O half, 1856 O Quarter, 1834 Half Eagle (cleaned but I still like it), 1844 O Half eagle with some great color, 1843 O quarter eagle, 2001 1/10 oz. eagle. I bought the 1/10 oz for $35 a few years ago and was over paying at that if I remember. and a 1874 CC gold eagle is on layaway right now for me. All I've payed including the price of the CC eagle is a scant under $2700. When you see the pictures I think you'll see that I've made some good decisions

Your collection must have been worth something for all of that.

And it does sound like you had a rather expensive collection in the beginning.

I remember cringing when I bought my 1/10 ounce AGE's also because I was over paying at that time also. I think I paid a little more than you did though (I think around 60 bucks a piece)

Sounds great. I wish I had bought a 1/10th ounce back in 2001. $175+ now.
