DvntMstr Valued Member Canada 223 Posts	Posted 08/06/2011 8:24 pm It seems that like most years 2011 has both the magnetic and non-magnetic varieties. While surfing ebay I saw a magnetic variety of the 2011 listed for 150.00 as the rare one, yet while searching through my pennies I found 18 of the magnetic ones and only 2 of the non-magnetic. So my questions are ... is the magnetic variety the rare one ? is the non-magnetic the rare one ? did I just get very lucky in my search finding so many magnetics or did I get lucky finding 2 of the non-magnetics ? BILL99 Valued Member United States 63 Posts	Posted 08/16/2011 10:52 pm YES...It seems that 2011 has both the magnetic and non-magnetic varieties. non-magnetic were made in first half of 2011 and now it's 2011 magnetic starting to show up...2009 repeat! 2010 was just all non-magnetic & 2007-2008 was all magnetic. what will be in 2012? anyone work at RCM and make pennies?
