A buddy of mine who I used to work with, who started his own roofing business asked me several questions tonight pertaining to investing in Pm's.....
He said he is making more money than ever before, and wanted to invest, and mentioned lithium. I like the idea of investing in lithium. I think Warren Buffet just dumped a ton in one of these new Lithium company's, and it seems like a sure thing, perhaps like some that got into cell phones, or apple, or whatever early on....
The funny part is he said you don't actually have any gold or silver, just paper rights correct. I was like wrong, I have it all, I trust no one as much as myself, lol. He said how did you get it, can you buy it? I said I could make a computer purchase on
ebay or other stores or sources and have it a day or two later if I wanted to pay the overnight air, and I can drive three miles down the road to Southern Bullion and buy silver rounds, bars, 1 oz. gold coins, whatever. Well I see these places that buy gold do they sell it? Mostly not I replied, depends on the business....
Well do you keep it, or do you use a safety deposit box? I said I don't trust the gov, and hide myself buried way out in the woods and only I have the treasure map (not really JK, lol), just in case the gov tries to take it all back, or a SHTF situation. Why would you not trust the gov, Kev your kinda kooky he said and what is a SHTF situation? Went on to say that I was one of those paranoid types eh? I said yeah, that bout sums me up, lol....
This is the blinders most of the people are walking around with, not even realizing he could purchase gold or silver, only seeing what is strait ahead. He is a good guy, fantasy football manager, knows sports and I can talk to him about them all day. But as far as knowing anything about the value of Pm's or the real economic situation that surrounds him, he is clueless. As he just has not been exposed to them yet, or worried about these things yet, being a mid twenty guy who only cares about booze and lady's before he thinks about the future, lol. But he was smart enough to see I was involved, and asked some good questions about Pm's and all the other collectibles I have sold on
ebay....
Sorry for the long winded rant, but I think most of the people we all know, are like the fellow above. Not dumb, just not informed yet and as they become more informed, the numbers involved with the PM market will grow. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. More people will get on board, and as the demand grows, and the Earth produces less, one would think this is a formula for big increases....
