chuckster 125 Pillar of the Community United States 4113 Posts	Posted 08/07/2011 6:35 pm Both coins are 1970S Large Date. Here are 2 pics of my 1970S Small Date that I found in circ awhile ago. Besides the great pics/info from coop , what I find to be extremely helpful in determining if it's a large or small date, is to turn the coin sideways. See my pic # 2. More that likely this will clearly show if the bottom of the 7 is even (Small Date) or extends below the 0 in the date (Large Date). Straight on 1970S Small Date *Side Angle- 1970S Small Date- Note the bottom of the 7 and 0 in the date line up even. Edited by chuckster 125 08/07/2011 6:43 pm Report this Post to the Staff
