Any know if there has ever been a book published on coin photography? I know there is a lot of good info on CCF but I;d love to be able to reference a book with picts of set ups, ect.and examples of each. If not maybe someone on here can do something like that or post a series of videos....hey just a thought!

I have seen some websites about coin photography but I have never looked for any books

Numismatic Photography 2nd Edition by Mark Goodman. Excellent in my opinion!

There is also the much earlier "The Art of Coins and their Photography" by Gerald Hoberman (1981). This is a fairly rare and classic book. It devotes about 50 pages to the history of coins, about 200 pages to photos, and about 100 pages to macro photography instruction. Expect to pay $100-$150 for this one. Mark's book is much cheaper and more relevant to today's cameras, but Hoberman has a lot of good info and gorgeous photographs, mostly of ancients.
