So I've read on here various times that wheat cents sell for about 5 cents each. But browsing ebay I see nothing of the kind. Rolls seem to run $6+ on ebay plus shipping. Too much for rolls IMO.

I would check your local coin shop. I'm picking up 2500 here where I live in an about an hour 4 cents each. But the minimum purchase was 2500 coins
Rest in Peace

Try some local coin shows. They're usually cheaper than 4c each I think.

Stay away from ebay Wheat cent rolls. 99.999% are over searched junk with seeded ends. What are the odds that nearly every roll these days have a FE, IHC, 1909, or silver dime of some variety showing on both ends just by chance. Well I'll tell ya Zero! Your best bet is dealers and coin shows. $50 bags can be had in $200-$225 range at most shows that I have seen.

Stay away from ebay for these kinds of purchases. Almost any local dealer near you should have some wheats for sale that you are looking for. Just call around.

Unfortunately being in rural northern Michigan, my choices are few when it comes to coin shows and the dealers are a good travel time away.

Coin shops and shows is the way to go. ebay is crap for "unsearched" stuff, they are all full of it. Auctions are another great place

I would say that 4 cents for good mixed wheaties is a nice price. At a show I attend a dealer has wheatie rolls by date/MM and grade. $6.00 per roll or 12 cents per wheatie plus postage is toooooooooooo much. A CCF member advertises here to sell for 4 cents each. Let's patronize our group members.

I don't expect much from ebay wheatie rolls. Just a lot of gimmicks they use so they can just unload them. I'm sure they been searched over countless times. I've seen the listings claiming they got a 14-D or a 31-S, it's all BS as far as I'm concerned.
