I came accross this strange looking "V" nickel and was wondering what you all think about it? Made made or Mint made? No clue but never saw anything like this before, your thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Formerly either jewelery, or a button; what you see on the reverse is the remains of what attached it to the rest of the hardware.

not so strange, it happens...people do the darnedest of things
use what every they can to make what there imagination lends them to..Kind of cool but not rarity..
