Sap Moderator Australia 16850 Posts	Posted 08/19/2011 9:52 pm The Okotoberfest is a world-famous festival in Munich, Bavaria, at which beer-drinking is the primary activity. The festival is imitated by beer fans throughout the world. I would assume the medal is simply one sold as a souvenir to visitors. Blue and white are the colours of the Bavarian flag and coat of arms, and the arms on the back are the old royal-styled arms. So your medal is almost certainly from the "real" Oktoberfest and not one of the foreign imitations.
