Last time I in the coin shop the guy was buying "Junk" silver coins for like 12x face but that was before the run up in silver prices. Anybody know a more current multiplier is or is this an uncommon practice.

should be a minimum of x25. With a high around x28. Though with silver moving up so fast it might be more likely to see it move to x26 or7 at the bottom. Anyway the most competitive I have seen around here is x25

Thanks I haven't bought or sold silver coins for melt since silver was at 18 an ounce. Wish I had bought more!
