I would say VF-35. I agree that it might be cleaned a little.

Very close to EF-40. Light cleaning.

Its not a matter if its slightly cleaned...for the wear its been cleaned...how long ago does not matter...for the record, MOST OLD COINS THIS OLD have bee "cleaned" at some point in time its just some are to bright for there age...for ages the "old patina" was not wanted so many collectors simply enhanced them a mite....So please don't take this as a slam...its been a common practice through the ages and even today..yet some have decided in the past 40 to let the bones be buried, not clean them as new chemicals cause discolorization later..perhaps thats why some feel the rainbow colors are worth more, their thinking is...it is more original than the blast white coins....who knows, if it tickles your fancy I say go for it!!
