Diameter: 14 mm

The seller wrote that this is the Mircea the Old coin from the second period of his reign (1397-1418).

What do you think - original one, or just a very good forgery?

Mediaeval Romanian coins are way outside my realm of experience, I'm afraid. I had to look up Wikipedia to find out who Mircea the Old was, and thus where the coin was from.
