SecretGlitch Valued Member United States 237 Posts	Posted 08/23/2011 6:27 pm The 1974 aluminum cent is illegal to own, and the 1944 steel cent or the 1943 copper cent are incredibly rare errors that usually need to be bought via well-publicized auctions, and go for tens of thousands of dollars.
