Have owned a few of these in my time. My dealer sells them to me for 1% over spot. I know he has one currently, just dont know how the market is going to play out. I only buy these to flip short term

Yeah I dream of a gold bar too, only in my dream its bigger and I don't have to buy it, I just find it partly buried in the dirt.  I can barely carry it its so heavy but I get it home and just sell off little chunks of it when I need money and never work again. Edited by GoThunder

Now that is what I call heaven. I always wanted at least one gold bar ever since I watched that movie where they robbed some bank form the Germans. |

Can't really say that I am dreaming about gold or silver these days but what I am doing is converting every price I see in the stores into ozs. of silver. I know that when I would rather have x number of ounces of silver than the item in question, it is time to pass on buying it.  |

I remember some old movie from the fifties with a team pulling off a big gold heist. To transport the gold the made molds out of the bumpers on their car and put solid gold bumpers and other parts of the car. They made a few hidden compartments for the rest of the gold bars. I think they got busted because the car was riding so low that the put it on a scale and nailed them. I have to look that up om IMDB. I love the web. It's a 1957 movie called " Plunder Road ".
