the back looks cleaned but the front doesn't so maybe its just the light

I would guess VG-8. The back does look a little bit bright.

Yes the reverse is shiny (cleaned). The obverse has not been cleaned. I thought that it would still be a good buy for the price. And I like the coin!

NICE!! I agree with a VG-8 grade.

A nice pickup of a one year coin type (arrows & rays). Definitely one of my favorite designs!

I would have to say G-6 with details (graffiti on the obverse). I love the 53's with rays!
