2x2 Cardboard Flips Advice - Coin Community Forum

I was wanting to try a Dansco but I am just not sure about that anymore. So I am asking, what are the best and safest 2x2 cardboard flips these days? Is there a particular brand? After cracking open some 15-20 yr old flips it really alarmed me and what can happen to your coins after that long. Are the flips at Hobby Lobby any good? Report this Post to the Staff

Products like 2x2s aren't exactly regulated to the point they have to say what type of plastic they contain. Even if they say what type of plastic they use, it's just their word. Imagine you are an unscrupulous merchant trying to sell millions of 2x2s you imported from China. You have heard that the collecting community didn't like PVC, for some silly reason. TheForce Pillar of the Community United States 4867 Posts	Posted 08/25/2011 1:17 pm Just back from Hobby Lobby. I bought a pack of 35 for $3.99 by Whitman. Nowhere on the package says "mylar". However, the coin pages by Cowens/Whitman says mylars sold separately. Report this Post to the Staff
