Sap Moderator Australia 16806 Posts	Posted 08/25/2011 9:07 pm This coin is made of pure nickel, a very hard-wearing metal. Nickel coins almost always look quite good, even when heavily circulated. Looking at the listing for this coin, we see that 1928 is actually the scarcest year this coin was actually struck for circulation (the other very rare years for this type were only struck for collectors). From what I can see in the pics, I'd estimate it at $50 to $70. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff

If there are no coin dealers near you that specialize in world coins, I would recommend a venue like ebay. If you're up to it, I would also recommend allowing shipping to "worldwide", or to Italy at least. International shipping can be a hassle, but I suspect most of the people who would be prepared to pay full value for this coin would be in Italy.
