Why Are Zinc And Nickel Each Up Over 11% Today?

I looked at Kitcometals, and seems like a very volatile day for trading. Zinc has gone from $1.00 or so to just about $1.12 a pound intraday. Copper plumeted 3 percent although that is typical time and time again. I don't understand why nickel and zinc are skyrocketing higher today.

I have also noticed even though the sudden shifts in the metal prices, there has been no fluctuation since the open.
