Good afternoon. I have recently bought this merchandising token.
I didn't spend much, but I haven't Rulau's Standard Catalog of United States tokens: can somebody tell me how much is this token worth in VF, XF and AU?
Thank you!

Here are the pictures:

Rulau Pa-Ph-880 / Miller Pa 109., circa 1876

Rulau lists two varieties of this token, with two distinct reverses.

This specimen is Reverse 1, listed once, only struck in white metal; Rulua lists EF =20; Unc=45

You have a nice token!

As per Rulau:

"Isaiah L. Cragin & Company were soap manufacturers, established in 1867. Dobbins Electric Soap was a laundry soap named after John B. Dobbins of Philadelphia, who first manufactured it, using a formula obtained from a Frenchman.

The "electric" in the soap's name made use of the popular interest in the mysteries and powers of electricity and implied that the soap was powerful and fast. After Cragin purchased Dobbins' rights the soap was advertised widely. It apparently had a high ph (alkalinity) to give it "sting."

Cragin also had a branch in Boston. He must have had some arrangement with Rudolph Schroder of Altona Germany to distribute "Dobbins Electrische Seife" in that country."

Thank you for your answer! I guess it is a rather common coin.
Philada is the abbreviation of Philadlephia?

Yours is the first I've seen in a while. In my experience I do not think it's particularly common.
