Check the reverse of the coin in this auction. The seller doesn't mention the retained die break in the listing. I already have one, so I'm letting all of you know about it.

That's what I thought! Dipped, yeah. But not polished. But, then gain, it could be a really poor polishing job!

But, since I'm in here now, to the OP, I don't know if that's a good price or not. Around $12 now. It could be a good price to someone who really wants it. And apparently somebody wants it at least twelve dollars worth!

I trust that my deep insight has been of absolutely no help.

it's probably worth $10 without the error. It's probably worth $20 to someone seeking the error, and since the seller doesn't know it has an error ...

Nice retained break, but it looks like surface corrosion was scrubbed off, taking some detail along.
