im trying to get a better idea of what this thing is worth. Its a 1995 platinum Chinese Panda Coin. I've been searching all morning and cant find much info on it regarding price. The only thing I can find is that it is supposedly rare.

I don't know much of anything about coins. It was given to my wife years ago by her dad as a gift. Its never been taken out of the jewel box it was given to her in. Its kind of like a ring box. it is not encased in plastic or anything like that.

i want to take this thing and see if I can sell it but am scared of getting ripped off.

she also has a 1991 gold Chinese panda coin that basically all the above applies to.

Please help me!

APMEX is selling a 1/10 oz. NGC PF-69 for $1,495 and the mintage figure is 5,000, the 1/20 oz. mintage is 10,000.

Chinese Panda is counterfeited tremendously, so may want to check weight first.
