I don't think ANY design they came up with would have satisfied "most" of the people.
That would be a very difficult thing to do, and a near IMPOSSIBLE TASK.....so many different things "could" have been put into it, or "should" be left off of it, but really just the "simplistic" approach may have been best after all.

I had no interest in purchasing this Commem.,........I'm kind of against a coin marking this treacherous evil horrific occasion at all.

Now, a coin showing a Seal Team 6 member doing the ol' "Tap Tap" on Osama Bin Laden........ I WOULD BUY THAT ! .....

But for what I see with this coin for what it is......it's just "okay", the Eagle isn't what it should be, I agree. And the fields of BOTH sides are not good, IMO.
I give this Commem., about a 5 on a 1-10 scale.

Not one that I'll pursue now......or in the near future.

The coward (UBL) hide for a long time.
At least the Iraqi's were able to quickly hang Hussein. After we caught the Elvis/Ace of Spades, he was got a lot better execution then many he was involved with.

I usually try to give credit when it is due. I can say that Saddam's sons went out in a "blaze of glory", instead of hiding in a hole. Yes they were scum. But, they fought until the last one fell dead.

I ordered the 9-11 and I am missing 3 packages of coins to include that one it appears now. Tracking #s from the other two show delivered. One day, I was at home. 3 days in a row missing coins. The post office and I are going round and round.

I bought one to support building the museum and the reflection pools. I especially like the wave wall reverse. There was an actual quote at the bottom that was much stronger than the two adjectives. Overall, it's not a bad coin.
