The speech isn't until later this week but we have a preview. A cut in payroll taxes and more spending on infrastructure. I thought we tried this but I guess we can keep trying it until we really figure out is doesn't work.

More importantly will the speech make the PM market move up, down or stay the same?

I don't like what I'm seeing and combine that with the markets and world news on gold I may not like Tuesday either.

It won't make any difference IMHO because nothing is going to get through congress. Lucky for us Obama is not a dictator and unlike his first 2 years he no longer has both houses behind him. Where was his big plan his first 2 years? Oh yeah, he was too busy cramming Obama care down our throats.

Really? What about his checking into ordering a higher debt ceiling regardless of what congress voted? How about his end run around congress by ordering EPA to regulate CO2 emissions, which is not in their congressional mandate? I am sure that there are other examples out there. Of course, working WITH congress and within the guidelines established by the USSC is just so... inconvenient!

Well Mk, since you mentioned it has already failed, I imagine that will push Pm's up. And assuming the majority of the investors out there are smart enough to see through the BS and realize it is a WASTE of TIME and MONEY to keep trying something that does not work, and that in itself would be defined as "insane" it seems....
