A friend of mine always downplays common tokens as worth very little. While these may be common issues, I think the uncommon condition should dictate that they have more value than he suggests.
I was photographing these and the batteries in my camera crapped out just as I was ready to snap a picture of the reverses of the 2. One has the typical "not one cent" reverse, while the other has the crossed cannons and flags. I'll photpgraph the reverses and add those pics a little later, but wanted to get some input from collectors.
I bought these last year, in a small lot of
Indian Head cents, and I bought the lot specifically for of the tokens. The pictures were bad, but good enough to see vestiges of red between the feathers on the one.
Any opinion as to grade or value appreciated.
