Keydates To Look For? - Coin Community Forum

vinnycoin Valued Member Canada 442 Posts	Posted 09/07/2011 1:23 pm Hi all, Found a bunch of oldish dollar bills from the 30's to 50's. Are there any keydates to look out for? Are they worth anythign more than face value? There aren't in Uncirculated shape, not even close, but just wondering if a coin store would give more than face. cheers, Report this Post to the Staff

Nickelman Pillar of the Community United States 1397 Posts	Posted 09/08/2011 4:19 pm I'm betting any notes from that period that are worth something you probably don't have. For example North Africa and Hawaii notes carry a premium, as do "R" & "S" experimentals, 35G's with motto, various star notes, etc. Perhaps it would be easier to tell us which series you have, the seal color, and serial numbers and we could proceed that way.
