Hi ,
I have this coin , can anyone tell me pls more about it (weight , karats , worth , etc) The band who encircle the coin is made from 14 k gold and it was made with the purpose of attaching the coin to a necklace (popular custom in East Europe) but it's actually the coin that I'm interested in. Can anybody help me with some info , pls ? Thanks a lot.

Searching on internet I found a reference to a 1972 17mm Germany olympic medal 4.5gms/ .900 kneeling archer/ olympic rings over monk.
Unfortunately there is no picture on the site to compare it to. Try searching karl stephens inc.
Hope it helps

I don't believe this is an official Olympic coin. It does not have a denomination on it and I believe there were only 6 coins issued for the 72 Munich Olympics, all of them silver 10 mark pieces.
