Here are a couple of self attributed Roman issues. One is a silver denari I purchased just as "Old Roman Silver Coin" a couple of years ago on ebay and the other (AE-3 Follis) I cleaned myself.

Anyone care to chime in (good or bad) on my identification accuracy.

The denari seems right on. I'm not too sure about the AE It looks a little like Antoninus Pius to me.

The silver denarius is definitely Marcus Aurelius, Sear#4915 Pax standing, struck in 166 AD (one of the few Roman types to be readily dated to a certain year).

Are you sure the other one is bronze? The Romans generally didn't issue bronzes that small, and that one doesn't seem to have the SC normally on bronzes. It's not a "follis" - they didn't come in until around the Constantine period. I'd guess it's another denarius; if it really is bronzy, then it's likely a copy of one (either ancient or modern). It may have had silver plating, which your cleaning has removed. I can't make out enough legend on it to say anything further as to ID.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
