As we say in the inner circle, upon closer examination, I still don't like the ebay coin, but unless I could examine the coin in hand I can not say it is altered. I still would not bid on it.

The surfaces next to the date do not appear to be original.

But what do I know.

Shadow, send it to SuperDave! For a nominal fee, he'll take incredible pictures for you, which will help you sell it when it comes time.

(Hope you don't mind the plug, Dave)

The title to your thread is such a attention grabber and no pics?

Now that's a sin!

Amazing! You weren't kidding when you said you hit the jackpot. Even if it had arrows, you still would have gotten an amazing deal. Without arrows... wow!

Yeah, just not on my dime : p

its a real nice coin. I couldn't remove the yellow effect from the pics though; there's a program for it on my computer but I can't find it.

This AWESOME piece needs to be sent in to be graded. It looks like it could easily be an AU if not an uncirculated coin. Getting it slabbed will accomplish two things you want, guaranteeing authenticity and having a grade which will come in handy if or when you decide to sell it.
