Colhand1 Pillar of the Community United States 629 Posts	Posted 09/22/2011 09:46 am I recently purchased a 1954 $1 with a mismatched serial number - one digit different on both sides. The bill in crisp, new and the modified portrait. How uncommon are these bills? What kind of value would this bill have? What's a good source for finding out information on this type of error? Canadian-Banknotes Pillar of the Community Canada 4944 Posts	Posted 09/22/2011 11:55 am The note has a book value of $400 (Charlton Standard Catalogue for Canadian Government Paper Money 24th edition).
