My son had the box made for me. He lives in Belgium so I have no idea where the box was made or who made it. It is a nice show piece. Other than the 11,and hopefully 12 some day, coins in this display case, all my other coins are tucked away in three ring binders. I'd love to be able to display them as I do with these 11.
As for difficult coins, Claudius Denarii are very hard to find. Probably only second to Caligula which I am still looking for. JC, Tiberius, Otho and Vitellius are not extremely difficult, but hard and expensive enough. Augustus, Vespasian and Domitian are the easiest and perhaps the cheapest to find. In fact, I have so many nice Augustus denarii it is hard to choose which should be in the display case.
If anyone knows of a Caligula denarius for sale at a reasonable (and that's subjective) cost, please let me know.
Yes, I've seen that offer on
ebay. Its been on there for several weeks. Its hard to say what their coins may be worth because you can't see the coins all that well. I'm sure if you are interested, the seller will be glad to provide you with better images.

. The price to me seems a tad high, but hay, if they can get that kind of price perhaps someday when my boys decide to sell my collection.........
Thanks for all the kind remarks.
Regards to all,
