Do you have any pictures of it that could help identify any unique marks or specific features of the coin? Here's an odd thought.. as I was reading the post it sounded like an episode of History Detectives. You might actually think about contacting them or a similar show. At minimum you could verify the authenticity of your document, and the exposure would likely do good for the chances of reuniting the coin and the paperwork. Report this Post to the Staff

What is the chance of TWO PCGS PR62 graded 1836 Gobrecht dollars? If somebody has a login for the park avenue website, they can get the cert number for you. Report this Post to the Staff

I have been talking with a man from Park Avenue and have sent him a copy of the letter and should hear from him this week. I am also trying to get the certificate number from the dealer I sent it to. I should know more this coming week. I doubt I get any info from him. Do you think I should just call Coin World with the story - anyone have any contacts there? Report this Post to the Staff
