I Think I Found A Clipped Planchet 5 Cent

ozcoins Pillar of the Community Australia 1005 Posts	Posted 09/26/2011 08:23 am I found a 5 cent coin where a short section of the rim (maybe 4mm) is missing on both sides of the coin, as well as the reeding on the edge of the coin. Looking through a 30x loupe I cannot see any signs of wear, so I think this might be a clipped planchet. Does that sound right? Report this Post to the Staff
