WOW all the news and others were saying gold will hit $2500 by the end of 2011.

Know I am wondering as it had dropped $110.00 below what I paid for my last 4 ounces I got with the huge premium they charge.

Know it goes up and down a hundred or two in two days time but not sure what it is headed this time I did post my 4 ounces for sale two weeks ago but no one was interested in and one ounce suisse credits anyway.

I say be patient, and wait it out....

I have a strong feeling it is not gonna take gold 30 more years to catch steam again like it did for silver in the early 80's....

Funny switching tracks a bit, the best window to buy was around 2 A.M. this morning, when gold bottomed out around 1550 and silver got real close to 25 per oz.....

Man, I wish I could have been in position to make a big silver or gold buy, when it hit those low's. Live you learn, and sometimes it never hurts to have some dying spare dollars stashed away for such a fall or other emergency's obviously....

Gold at $2500 is still possible by the end of the year, possible, but not likely. By next Easter, though? Most likely. We will see.

The drop started when the Fed began another 'quiet' stimulus a few days ago. Fed stimulus artificially keeps precious metals low. When the stimulus begins to wear off it's like the laughing gas from the dentist, things start to pick back up.

This stimulus will definitely keep PMs low through the end of this year. Don't look for any major short term gains.

I hope so RJ, as I would like a couple of months to see what I can rally together....

Exactly so, Jack. The future is not only unknown, it is unknowable! All we can do is use our knowledge and experience to make our best educated guesses. While doing this, we must always be aware that they ARE just guesses too. Don't get too puffed up with self-importance when these guesses hit the mark. That will happen sometimes but it is not typical.

Beware anyone who says that they KNOW what will happen in the future. They don't. They just want others to think that they do for some nefarious purpose.

Unless...Wall St banks, etc. are putting the stimulus into PMs.
