So, since the major peak in 1980, above-ground silver has been reduced by 80% or so. If silver was a critter, it would be on the endangered species list.
a bit tending towards a sales pitch in my opinion. The production v.s. consumptions numbers did not take into account recycled/remelted silver, which together with production is still more than consumption (though not by much).
