I was at the dealers today to pick up more silver. While I was there I asked if they had any $1 coins for around melt. 30 of them are VF+, 5 are VG. He sold them to me for $20 ea . I was ahead before I walked out the door.

Wow that is a real steal, and that silver collection is blowing up....

Buy in the lows, sell in the highs (if needed) can't go wrong with that simple formula IMO....

Really nice haul! Some of the coins look like they are AU. I expected most to be common dates but I didn't think there would be a 1894-O in the lot. I have to agree that 1879 is nice. You have gotten one fantastic deal!

Mmmm, gotta love those Morgans. I particularly like the reverse. I have about 50 of them now, all common date coins but all F-VF or better condition. I pretty much just bought them for their silver content but I also appreciate their history.
