Well, I just bought/won a 1935 $50 French Bill ... the catalogue price is $3475 for this VG-10 bill, but I bought it for $2085 (well, $2400 after premium taxes, fees & shipping) ... but still, that's $1000 below the catalogue price, so I'm feeling quite happy at the moment (yeah!)

the coolest part about this bill, is the fact that there were only "32,500" printed 76 years ago ... man, that's a long time ago, plus that's certainly a pretty small run, yes?

=> best part is => I can tick-off one more bill in my collection (my next target is to get myself one of those lovely 1935 $25 Bills ... they're hot!)

Ummm sorry, there really isn't any reason for this posting => but I was just needing/wanting to tell somebody about my latest awesome purchase ... thanks for listening.

Try for a French $500 instead.

Thanks Peter THOMAS => I must admit that I already have a $20, but not a French $20 (yet) ... yah, the "Princess" Elizabeth is a very cool bill (she's still alive and she's in her 80's!) ...

=> man, I love the 1935-series ... there is sooo much going-on and it's all so cool => there's an English series + and a rare French series, plus there's a Princess Elizabeth bill, a "$25" bill, a "$500" bill, etc ... and all of them are fairly low printed runs (it doesn't get any better than that!)

I agree with you steve. The 1935 series is my personal favorite.
