I have several duplicate notes (concentrating on type/series versus Branch) that I would like to post for sale/auction. What would be better to illustrate them; Photography or Flat bed Scanner?

The scanner since it gives the viewer more info on how the note looks like.

I have a Canon LiDE200 Color Image Scanner that I bought off of Amazon for $60. It works fine for me. I use it with a Mac though, not a PC. I like the fact that it can do 4800 dpi if I want to be able to zoom in real close. Had it for about six months and no problems yet. This is my first strictly scanner and not a scanner photocopier combo. Plus, the power runs off of the usb port, so no power cord. So I can take it with me and use it on my laptop. I'm sure there are great newer ones with all the bells and whistles, but it really comes down to what features you want and what features you can live without.

I have heard that having the "scanner only" versions are better.
