ooooo, not even a picture. In great condition...with "graet" spelled wrong. The seller has no other items and hasn't sold anything in 1 year. What are the chances some guy from Oklahoma just had this thing sitting around.
I bet it's not even a 1799 silver dollar fake, its probably some random anniversary token that just happens to say 1799 on it somewhere. Some people seem to think it's worth bidding on...if the bids stay low enough, I might throw a "who cares" bid at it just to see what comes in the mail (if anything comes at all)...then just return it for not being genuine (I'd win a case automatically if I claimed that) in the 99.9999% chance that it isn't real

I will make sure to do so, but I doubt it'll happen. I know I could get my money back regardless of how much I spend, but I don't want a significant amount tied up anywhere. I'll only bid up to maybe $30 or so. I know some schmuck will probably come flying in at the last second and probably throw a few hundred at it thinking he's the luckiest guy on earth. Honestly, although this auction is sooooo obviously a complete joke, I'd be willing to bet money, $30 won't win it.

I agree. It will sell for some ridiculous amount, then the seller will disappear off the face of ebay's earth.

Please. No picture? Uncirculated? Must consult my Nigerian banker on this.

This is already up to over $150 with 5 hours to go. I emailed yesterday and asked for a picture & got no response. If he didn't respond to that, how long do you think it would take for him to respond when they email him that it is fake? ugh

A herd of pigs flew over my apartment the other day. It was interesting to watch, but not extraordinary.
If this coin is real, it would be extraordinary. Chances are I'll see the entire Eastern Seaboard's population of pigs migrating south for the winter first.

Has quite a few bids on it, up to $152. Evidently some folks would like to have one, pics or no!

Sorry but in the case I blame the buyers. If you get stuck paying large amounts of money for a fake coin, it is your own fault. If it's too good to be true!

well I can know longer throw a "who cares" bid at it when we're at $152 and growing. Too bad, I was looking forward to seeing how fake or stupid the coin actually was.

wow. I suppose we'll never know if
a)the coin was a fake 1799 b)the coin was actually some commemorative token which happens to say 1799 somewhere c)the coin wasn't even a token or a coin, but something round d)nothing existed period, nothing will be sent after payment, seller will disappear
and buyer s***o is a total idiot.
