paleoguy45 Pillar of the Community United States 2936 Posts	Posted 10/05/2011 6:47 pm I leave any hint of matte proofs up to the graders. It's too easy to get burned on a well struck early Buffalo. Once the Type 2 came out in 1936, then it was easy to tell the difference due to the brilliant strike. PG Report this Post to the Staff

The first thing that jumps out to me is "TED" in UNITED on the obverse and "ME" in AMERICA. Is the uneven ME die clash? Report this Post to the Staff
