Maybe? Possibly?

I know it can be very hard to distinguish a nice business strike from a matte proof. What are your thoughts about this coin?

I leave any hint of matte proofs up to the graders. It's too easy to get burned on a well struck early Buffalo. Once the Type 2 came out in 1936, then it was easy to tell the difference due to the brilliant strike. PG

I do not think it is, based on weakness of the braid knot and the buffalo head next to the rim.

I haven't looked at any of these from this angle in such a high grade. The first thing that jumps out to me is "TED" in UNITED on the obverse and "ME" in AMERICA. Is the uneven ME die clash?
