I think it might be Gallienus:

AR antoninianus - RIC 5a, 18

Coin-To-ID-From-My-Fathers-Collection

GALLIENVS P F AVG, Radiate and cuirassed bust left, holding shield and spear
GERMANICVS MAX V, Trophy; at base, two seated captives, hands bound.
RIC V 18; MIR 36, 872m; RSC 310 - Minted AD 257-258.

The captives may be Persian but I'm not sure.

Talk about not seeing the wood for the trees!

I think the GERMANICVS reverse may point us in the right direction for the origin of the captives

Bobbyhelmet is the clear winner. Sometimes I just have extra time on my hands so I have the time to look things up. But I'm no expert for sure, Bobbyhelmet on the other hand is much more knowledgeable. In my case, I need independent confirmation as I am just as often wrong as right. So please, don't let us keep you from chiming in on any given post.

Regards,

JW
