There is always something special about Ancients. I like your images. The second image, though, is intriguing. What does the obverse look like?

thanks! I know I have a long way to go but I would rather look at a picture then mess around holding my coins possibly resulting in dropping them and damaging them. plus my 14yr old is taking over on my collection when she gets older so I am tryint to get her used to taking pictures and putting them away so if she wants to show her friends or someone she doesn't have to bring them out all the time.

Oh man, now you have me going again. Not long ago I told someone how much I enjoy collecting Ancients as opposed to modern coins. And one of the main reasons is that I am able to hold my coins without the worry of harming them with the oil/acid from my fingers. These coins are not mint condition. They have all been circulated and touched by human hands at some time in the past 2000 plus years. Generally speaking, your touching these coins will not have any lasting effect. If you think it might, then wipe then afterwards if you must. Me, I love to hold my coins and let my imagination run away with me. Who else has held this coin? Where has been and what has it been through? If ever I feel like I can't hold my coins, I'll stop collecting as I did with my U.S. coins.
See, I told you. Got me going again. Sorry for the rant. Enjoy your coins in whatever way suits you.

Quote: rather look at a picture then mess around holding my coins possibly resulting in dropping them and damaging If your a slab user you will be sent to the naughty step, no ifs, no buts Actually - free the coins, imprison the child. Yes, the more I think about it the more sense that makes, cant see any problems with that idea. Seriously though - Its nice a 14 year old is interested, I guess even Constantine would understand the sacrifice! https://goccf.com/t/99812

I don't know Bobbyhelmet. Constantine had Crispus killed for being naughty, or at least he thought he was being naughty.
