Hi there. Before I explain what I have, I am nervous about making an inquiry about my special dollar bill because I can't include an image at this time. Unfortunately, I've misplaced the envelope that had the bill in it. It's got to be somewhere around my house. It's in a small white envelope where I also kept some other not-so-interesting bills (like silver notes and $2 bills.)Anyway, I've been searching for it on and off, but no matter what I can't shake my curiosity about my misprinted bill, so I'm going to take a chance and ask anyway. The good news is that I can describe it to a tee. I have a one dollar bill where nearly the entire front of the bill is blank, except for the 2 serial numbers and the 2 seals. The back of the bill is normal. Here's where I think that I'm going to get backlash because people will want to see proof - the bill is in mint condition. Years ago I used to work at a supermarket. We would get coins and small bills delivered to the store from the armored truck to use as change. Quite often we'd get bands of brand new bills fresh off the press and in sequence. Whether brand-new or previously circulated, we always had to break open the bands count them to verify that we received the proper amount and re-band them before dispersing them to cashiers. One time while counting a band of brand new one dollar bills, I came across that gem.I pulled a dollar from my own pocket, and swapped it out for the misprinted one. I stuck it in an envelope and have had it since. It was probably mid to late 90's when I came across this dollar, and because the internet and forums like this were not widely used back then, I didn't know how to go about researching such a thing. Now, in the meantime, I've misplaced it, and I'm kicking myself. Still looking. Does anyone have any feedback about the possible value of a bill like this? I'm including a link that I saw someone post on another thread. My bill is similar to this. This picture shows a partial image on the front of the bill on the bottom. Mine has no image, again, only the 2 serial numbers and the 2 seals. Thank you for your time and consideration. Please be kind. I'm looking for the dollar, and should I find it anytime soon, I will certainly post a pic.

I believe this type of error is called the "Insufficient Pressure" error. It's pretty self-explanatory: The engraved and inked plate doesn't hit the paper with enough pressure and so doesn't leave a complete image.
I'm not sure on an estimated value yet, but I'll look around and see if I can find anything..

I guess it could also be called an insufficient inking error.
My estimate is that it's worth possibly at least $100..
I'm hoping others can chime in here...lol

I think it's missing the second print if it shows no image. It could carry a hefty premium....pics would help if you find it...and...
