Question:

A few years ago there were calls for the retirement and demonetization of all coins less than one peso (the sentimo coins) in the Philippines.


Have decisions been made to end their production, or are they still being made?

There are no decisions yet on the coins.
Priority of the change is the current paperbills here in the Philippines because of the change in designs of all denominations starting 20 peso bill up to 1000 peso bill.
