This 1839 quarter has me a bit stumped. It generally looks to me like an F-VF specimen (cleaned), but that obverse shield is so strong.

What do you all think?

I would say a grade of Fine. Too bad someone started cleaning the left side of the obverse and probably said "Oops!" or words to that effect...
