It's never too late to get started. It's kinda like prepping. Even if you're only buying one a month, your collection will consistently grow, and in a few years you'll have some tall stacks. Great photography, also!

You get my thumb of approval as you are collecting what you like and that's all that matters.

Indeed so. But the fact that he has made some truly excellent choices there adds some very nice icing to the cake.

VERY nice! Better than my small stash, especially with that Philharmonic!

Love that 100 shillings Somali piece.

Also make sure your Panda is the real deal. It is notorious for being counterfeited.

Thanks for all the love, everyone!
I got the Chinese Panda from APMEX and I've weighed it so I'm pretty positive it's real. Thanks for the head;s up, though.

I plan on going for the Canadian Grizzly and the Canadian Wolf next, even though I'll have to pay quite a hefty premium; especially for the wolf. Oh well, I want the full Canadian Wildlife Series. Anyone else think the Cougar design is kind of lame? I absolutely LOVE all the other designs in that series, but the cougar doesn't look as great to me.

--I'd also like to get a Britannia, but was turned off when I saw the Britannias are only 95.8% silver instead of the 99.9 or 99.99 like all my others.

The Britannias weigh a little more than one troy oz, such that they incorporate 1 oz of pure silver.

Nice start! Probably similar to what my collection was a few weeks ago. Been adding non-stop since. lol

The britannia coins are classically beautiful and very British. Excellent addition to the collection!

Hey all,

I went to my coin gallery yesterday and picked up 5 new ASE's. I'm now up to 21 oz of silver including 15 ASE's all different dates. Yesterday I picked up a 1989, 1994, 1997, 2005, and the revered 1996! I got the 96' for a darn good price considering what I see them going for elsewhere.

Here's some new pics:
