Hmmmm.. I have the 23 half penny, and I will get the 1930 eventually. It's an issue of coin or mortgage, you can only pay for one at a time.
So what would I like but probably never own.

A 1916 half penny mule, not due to cost more that there are only about a dozen of them known.
A 1945 Aust Shilling, once again just due to rarity.

There are also a bunch of Australian gold sovereign and half sovereigns that I'd like but at present I don't do gold coins.

To the OP, the coins you posted, how much would they cost to obtain or are they "unique"?

You could get this from a Chinese seller along with a 1954 penny

In answer to mkman123

Keeping in mind that the US dollar is worth almost as much as the Australian dollar at the moment, the following prices should give you an idea of why us mere mortals will never own most of these beautiful coins.

1930 Penny, Mintage 3,000
Fine $8,500 : Proof $1,000,000+

1923 Halfpenny, Mintage 1,113,000
Fine $1,300 : Proof $500,000

Gothic Crown. Mintage 8,000
Proof Impaired $500 : Proof $9,000

Wreath Crown, Mintage 932 in 1934 up to 9,034 in 1928
Fine $100 : Proof $12,500

Waitangi Crown, Mintage 660 + 468 Proof
Fine $1,200 : Proof $5,500

Type 1 Sydney Mint Sovereign, Mintage 21,000 in 1855 & 478,000 in 1856
Fairly beat up VG $1,950 : Proof $500,000

For trout1105: What about a full set of 1937 ha'penny 1/2d, penny 1d, thripence 3d, sixpence 6d, shilling 1/- & two bob 2/-? I'm sure I've seen these advertised at one time or another.

BTW Peter S Thomas, Macca's lists the 1945 pattern 1/- at $250,000

Meanwhile, what about

I am a member of the Mercedes - Benz Car club of N.S.W.
One of our members who is a Melbourne Cup winning jockey, owns what he calls:
"My Two Penny Mercedes" His car was bought with the sale proceeds of two 1930 pennies.

Firstly, these photographs belong to Northeast Numismatics - where I go to drool.

Wish I owned them, but I doubt I ever could!

Wow, that Gothic Crown just got added to my list. What a graceful, very detailed coin. As for me... (thanks to heritage auction for the pics)

A MS Original Fugio Cent...

And I know this is currency and not a coin, but I personally think it is one of the two best looking bills ever produced in the US...
And hey, it does say "coin" on it, and could probably exchange it for a pretty nice $20 St. Gaudens...

Ahhhh! This is what I had in mind - these sure are some beautiful pieces that I'll have to investigate further. Thank you for bringing them to the attention of the wider community.

Well, since we're talking hypotheticals here, I'd go for an MS-70 ultra high relief 1 oz. Double Eagle.

I'm not familiar with the Gothic Crown, but it looks really sweet.
