Purchased:
- 4 Liberty nickels 1887,1888,1893,1895 all G4 -$24
- BU silver Jeffersons 1943d and 1945s -$12
(the 45 may be FS, I'll try to get a pic)
- Large cents 1847,1850,1851, all original VG-f -$30
- 1910s Lincoln Cent G4 -$5
- 3 40% Kennedy halfs -$12
Mainly I had a lot of fun with my wife and "almost" bought a lot of other coins. Oh the price does not include tax and 10% buyers fee so the entire deal was just under $100.
Good time. and decent deals?
Rest in Peace

Sounds like a good time and good deals to me. Any time you can take the wife out, spend less than $100 and come home with something to show for it, well you know....

Imagine taking your wife out to a restaurant, then to a movie, pay for parking, gas in your car, etc. You did a real lot better and have lots to show for it.

For the most part she humors my coin collecting, BUT she showed a sign (a big one) of weakening.
She saw a Morgan and said "I like that one bid on it". As I fumbled for my number, in disbelief,
the hammer went down and I missed it. I had just told her it had a mintage under a million and
all the sudden she likes it? Oh I know I'm getting to her. We never spoke of her moment of coin fever
I'll just let it fester.Ha
