The best 1914 D Lincoln I could get, since it is not likely I could get a 1909 S VDB

Seated dollar (no motto) as the final coin in my type set (aside from future upgrades of course). I am currently looking for one in low grade (I posted on here in my want list....) So I would be able to buy a pretty nice one for $500.

That would work pretty well for me.

That works well too.. and there might even be some $$ left over for a giant ice cream sundae to celebrate!

Just a bit over $500 ($570) but this is what I would get

why? because I have no gold coin at the moment, and this one has a really nice design and a good price for 1/4ounce compared to other OVER priced RCM products

One of two Australian coins I have been looking for for quite some time....
Either 1934-1935 Melbourne Centenary florin.
Should get a reasonable one for $500

Or 2000 $1 mule (ten cent obverse die).
Might be lucky to get anything reasonable for $500 now.

How soon can you send me the $500. Better still, send $1000 and I will buy both. I promise I will then do a "show and tell" here.

Jeff

I would buy a 2008 buffalo $5 gold piece. I would buy it because it is the highest quality gold coin the us mint has ever produced for one. For two 2006 was the only year that the mint produced the gold buffalo coins in increments ($5, $10, $25 and $50 coins). For this reason alone the $5, $10 and $25 buffalos will be keys to this collection. And the third reason I would buy it is because I love the old indian head and buffalo design.
