Thanks for advice so far an overwhelming No Cleaning think ill take to coin shop grading opinion, got on ebay, and don't have it yet, just tried the cleaning on the walking half cause it is damaged already. Maybe when I get it in hand it won't be as black as pictures made it out to be. I paid $65 for it. Like that matters, I usually only buy BU silver, this was first purchase of older ungraded coin.

$65 for a CC Morgan? Whoa, do you have any images of it from ebay? $106 minimum value for a G-4 according to Numismedia.

If it's a real CC that you bought for $65 than congrats, you got a heck of a deal! :)

Try soaking it in Acetone... But never rub your coins. They'll get hairline scratches

It is titled 1890 cc Morgan grade as you see it, you guys should be able to use that # to see pics, very interested in opinions of people that can see picture!!

IF it was mine and the Morgan is Black I would dip it or stick it in my jewelry cleaner.
But then I dont care much for Black or toned Silver coins.
And ones I clean are for my collection I dont sell the cleaned coins.
Question How many over 100 year old 90% silver coins you guys think havent been cleaned at one time or another?
Not that many years ago cleaning Silver coins was the rule of the day. Was it not?

I copied the images from ebay for you. Losey photos but I think you got a good deal on the coin. Maybe you can post better photos when you get it.

Thanks Indian, I appreciate it, now any one wanna take a guess on the grade of this badboy, the seller is from same state as I am, so I should have Tommorrow or Thursday. And will try to post better pictures, my phone takes great pics but doesn't let me upload very easily. Again thanks to everyone so far, you guys are great, thoughts on grade, and to submit or not are next.

I'm going to say VG-10 from these lousy photos. Maybe in hand it will look a little better and the dark color not so much so. There's a good chance it was once cleaned also. If that's the case, then cleaning it again won't hurt it but I think the dark color gives it a little character.
